HTO’s First Fundraiser! on November 1st, 1998
When HTO first formed, we were taken under the non-profit wing of the Jean-Michel Cousteau Institute (now Ocean Futures). The fundraiser was at the Coral Casino (Biltmore Hotel, Santa Barbara), a few months after we formed.
We raised $60,000 in an hour and a half!
