Heal the
Ocean focuses on wastewater infrastructure
- sewers and septic systems - as
well as other municipal operations
that contribute to ocean pollution.
We have five goals:
- Zero pathogens
in sewage discharges
- A significant
reduction in use of septics
- Reduced
stormwater contamination
- Elimination
of ocean dumping
- Elimination
of coastal landfill pollution
We use engineers,
lawyers, scientists and university
laboratories to help us locate sources
of pollution, assess their significance
and find solutions. We perform virus
and DNA tests, cost feasibility
studies and employ a variety of
methods to meet our objectives.
