A Trashy Problem No More... HTO Gets Extra Trash Bins to County Beaches!

With everyone going to Santa Barbara beaches in droves this weekend (perhaps more than they have during Santa Barbara’s quarantine period), Santa Barbara’s coastal areas are being subjected to lots and lots of unsightly trash strewn about. This unlovely situation is made worse by wind, birds and other scavengers.

Therefore, Heal the Ocean is providing MarBorg trash bins and 3-days-per-week pickup at County Beaches from now until Labor Day – Miramar/Hammonds; Butterfly Beach/Channel Drive; and Arroyo Burro Beach. We also give a thank-you nod to Surfrider, for installing trash bins at the Padaro Lane beach access.

Do your part. Please use the bins and properly dispose of your trash!
