Letter Perfect, the store on Coast Village Road, Montecito had a great opening party in the beautiful Just Folk Building in Summerland on Friday, December 7, 2018 - and a lot of our wonderful HTO supporters came! The artwork was incredible, the party fantastic, and the atmosphere merry.

A Big Bark-Out to Our Dog Sponsors!
Thank you to the HTO Dog Bag Sponsors for helping to keep our parks and beaches clean (and poop free)! HTO has been raising money for dog bags for the dispensers of Santa Barbara County south coast beaches (and some dispensers in Santa Barbara City parks). This year, we've contributedover $16,000 for public access dog waste bags. We love the beloved businesses and dog-lovers who have jumped on board with our great program...thank you all for your support!

HTO Races into the New Year -- Join Us!
This is a picture of HTO policy analyst Andrew Juiliano in a bike race in Tulsa, Oklahoma during the weekend of December 8-9, 2018. Andrew is a Cyclocross biker. We like this picture because it represents speed and obstacles. HTO work is rather like this - and this is how we're going into the New Year of 2019, fast and ready for the challenges ahead!

More Summerland Oil well cleanup/capping will happen in May, 2019, and we might get TWO wells capped at once!
HTO and James Hawkins Wastewater Inventory Report is being used as a reference to the State Recycled Water Policy.
We continue to get septic systems removed from creeks, beaches, and
other inappropriate areas - which are becoming especially problematic now that the tide is rising along with groundwater levels.
